About Lisa Rong, M.D.
Dr. Lisa Rong joined NewYork-Presbyterian/ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ Medical Center in August 2014. Before coming to ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ, Dr. Rong completed a Fellowship in Anesthesiology at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. Her ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ appointment marks a return to the New York City area - she completed her Bachelor’s degree at Columbia College, and earned her M.D. at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of Rutgers University. She was an intern in internal medicine at Long Island College Hospital and then completed anesthesiology residency training at the NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Rong’s focus is cardiovascular anesthesiology. In addition to her clinical duties, she focuses on researching applications for 3D intraoperative echocardiography.
